    Early departure from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with several panoramic stops along the way.
  • Midday
    Arrival at Aït Ben Haddou for a guided visit of the ksar and free time to explore. Lunch is available in a traditional restaurant overlooking the kasbah.
  • Afternoon
    Continue to Ouarzazate to discover the city and visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Optionally, you can visit the famous Atlas Studios before returning to Marrakech.

A day through the Atlas

We set out early from Marrakech and the drive over the High Atlas Mountains was striking, though the winding road took some getting used to. The visit to Aït Ben Haddou was a highlight; the guide shared plenty of interesting history about the kasbah and its film connections. Lunch with a view of the kasbah was a good break before heading to Ouarzazate. The day was long but packed with unique sights that felt worth the effort.

Good excursion with nice sights

The journey from Marrakech to Ouarzazate via the High Atlas was well paced, allowing us to appreciate the mountainous landscape without feeling rushed. The visit to Aït Ben Haddou was informative, and the restaurant overlooking the kasbah was a good place for lunch. The private arrangement felt personal and efficient throughout the day.

A Thorough Look at Southern Morocco

Crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass provided views that I hadn't expected, and the stop at Aït Ben Haddou helped me visualize Morocco's history better. The day was packed but not overwhelming, and the driver seemed attentive to timing. Despite the long drive, the setup allowed some moments of ease in the vehicle.
