A genuine retreat with a few quirks

Staying at Villa Vaeah was mostly good; the two bedrooms were spacious and the living area felt genuinely inviting with all the natural light. The private pool and garden offered a nice sense of privacy, which made the experience feel homely. I appreciated the location, close enough to Ubud’s main spots but still tucked away in greenery. However, one corner of the villa seemed a bit less in keeping with the rest of the authentic Balinese style, which felt slightly out of place but didn’t spoil the stay.

Well-thought-out space in Ubud

The villa’s layout made it easy to separate our activities between the two bedrooms and the main living area, which allowed for some privacy and group time. I appreciated how the open kitchen overlooked the rice fields, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces nicely. The private pool area was a good spot to relax after day trips, though a bit more seating by the pool would have been useful.

Convenient location and helpful host

Our stay was made easier by the host who provided clear directions and checked in to confirm everything was in order. The villa itself offers a nice mix of serene natural views with modern amenities, especially the kitchen area overlooking the rice fields. It was close enough to local cafés and yoga studios to make daily outings simple.
