The trip to Ourika Valley was a good break from the usual city sights. Despite the initial slow start as we settled into the group, the guide provided clear instructions and interesting insights into Berber culture. The stops by the waterfalls and the chance to explore nature at a leisurely pace were refreshing. I’d recommend this for anyone wanting a straightforward excursion from Marrakech.

A Day Well Spent
We took the day pass at Kal Tenere Luxury Camp, just a short drive from Marrakech. The welcome with Moroccan tea and pastries was a nice touch. It took a bit of time to settle into the pace of the day, but the views from the pool helped with that.

Desert ride with a view
This quad excursion offered a lively way to spend some hours outside Marrakech. The dunes provided a thrilling backdrop, making each stretch of riding quite engaging. While the welcome wasn’t overly warm, the professional guidance helped us feel at ease quickly. Sharing quads was fun and the tea stop in the desert added a welcome pause to the ride.

Unexpected thrills in the Agafay
I appreciated how the guide took time to explain the route and safety gear before we started, which made me feel more at ease. The desert’s changing colors under the afternoon sun were remarkable, and stopping often to take in the view was a plus. The ride was lively but well balanced, giving us moments to catch our breath and enjoy the local tea. It was a rare chance to connect with a landscape so close to Marrakech yet so different.
