Children may ride after a safety assessment by the guide and must follow the supplier’s instructions. Please provide every child’s age when booking. Infants may join the transfer and dinner with advance confirmation, but they do not ride.

Wear comfortable clothes, long trousers and closed shoes. Bring sun protection and an extra layer because temperatures fall after sunset. If weather or terrain conditions are unsafe, the team will contact you to arrange an alternative date or another solution.

The private camel ride at golden hour felt like the main event, and having a private guide kept it personal, with dinner and evening entertainment rounding out the evening. My only note is that the full outing takes a good chunk of time, so it helps to keep the rest of the day light.

Very good experience. We had about an hour on the camels, then dinner afterward, and the final details arriving the day before helped us plan. The Moroccan tea was a nice part of the evening too.

I first noticed the timing when the pickup was confirmed the day before rather than sticking to the displayed 5:00 PM, and that actually made sense once we arrived. Traveling out from Marrakech in the late afternoon meant we reached Agafay when the atmosphere was at its best. That stretch around sunset was the part I will remember most. I would have preferred a firmer time earlier, but the light was clearly the reason for the flexible schedule.
